Job Description: School ICTC Executive

Position Overview: The School ICTC Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the school’s IT infrastructure and providing technical support to ensure smooth and efficient operation of all IT-related systems. This includes the management of network devices, software installation, IT asset supervision, and support for educational and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure Management:
    • Manage School SIP Based PA System, CCTV Desktops, NAS boxes, firewalls, switches, access points (APs), routers, UPS, Classroom TV, I-Pads, Macbook, BLE and other IT assets.
    • Ensure the availability and proper functioning of the IT infrastructure.
  • Software Management:
    • Download and install new authentic/authorized software across all PCs.
    • Install OS antivirus/Windows Defender updates and perform daily virus scanning.
    • Install OS Mac Updates and perform daily scanning.
  • ERP Support:
    • Provide IT support for Ether ERP, Toddle, Destiny E-Library during critical periods such as report card generation, fees collection, ID card processes and DCU. 
  • Computer Lab Supervision:
    • Supervise computer labs, ensuring all PCs, Macbook/laptops, Ipads, and other IT assets are functional and up to date.
  • Educational Software Installation:
    • Install various educational software as requested by ICT Teachers and the HOS..
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with office equipment and peripherals like printers, scanners, BLE Gateway, BLE Card, IP cameras, firewalls, etc.
  • Emergency SMS Services:
    • Provide support for SMS services in emergencies.
  • Presentation Equipment Management:
    • Arrange and install projectors, LED TV and Interactive TV for internal presentations, visiting Speakers, or guests.
  • Event Support:
    • Provide IT support required by teachers for various functions, events, occasions, workshops, and project displays.
    • Assist with IT and non-IT support during Literacy Showcase and Physical Literacy.
  • Network and Internet Maintenance:
    • Maintain 99% uptime for LAN networks and internet connections.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues during crises.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Manage vendors for IT consumables such as cartridges, CDs, and pen drives.

 

  • Training and Support:
    • Train and troubleshoot for Teaching staff on various applications, Classroom TV’s Laptops/Macbook, ERP applications BLE Apps, Toddle Apps, Destiny e-Library, Razkids, Jolly Phonics etc..
    • Train and troubleshoot for non-IT staff on various applications, ERP applications, Salesforce, Google Apps, Toddle Apps, Destiny e-Library, etc..
    • Provide regular follow-up with local users for data backup on NAS.
    • Manage and sync iPads/tablets and their apps regularly.
  • Accounts Support:
    • Provide IT support for Tally software issues such as company rewrites and backups.
  • Apps Support:
    • Assist teachers and parents with Toddle Apps, Destiny E-Library Apps, I-Pads with ASM and MDM  related issues.
  • Reporting:
    • Send weekly job cards for classroom Desktop and Interactive TVs, Ipads, tablets, and staff room systems.
    • Submit daily reports on the firewall, health status of NAS servers, ISP Status, BLE Tracking System, CCTV cameras, and data recording updates.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
  • Strong knowledge of network management, software installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to train and support non-IT staff.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, Google Apps, and educational software.
